Logba Project

Report on Logba Project. My personal interaction with the teen girls as a nurse

Good afternoon to you all. Our trip to Logba was successful by the Grace of God. When we got to Logba, we met the teen girls and health Education on periods menstrual health interventions and hygiene awareness was given to the teen girls. The education was interactive and they asked questions which I answered them tactfully. I asked them what their challenges were and some of them said:

N

The first person said she doesn't have money to buy sanitary pads

N

Someone also said she managed one pack of sanitary pad for two months

N

Another person said she doesn't have money to buy sanitary pad, so during her time of the month she doesn't go to school

N

One also said her parents don't give her money to buy sanitary pad so she begs her friends for pad every time of her month

They are pleading with IDEF to come to their aid. THANK YOU
